our daycare

Daycare in Tabanan — cared for, not just watched.

Daycare at Untuk Anak is for families who need a longer day — and still want their child to be held, known, and gently stretched. It isn't as deep as our preschool program, and we say that honestly. It's care first: warm adults, fresh food, real rest, and unhurried activities that quietly support how your child is growing.

Open Mon–Sat · 07:30 – 17:30 (Saturday until 15:00).

What does a daycare day include?

Small groups, familiar faces

Your child is with the same educators every day. No rotating staff, no big crowds — a small mixed-age group in a calm house.

Real food, cooked here

Fresh meals prepared daily, organic where possible, never deep-fried. Breakfast if your child hasn't eaten, lunch, two snacks, and dinner for late stays.

Proper rest

A quiet, darkened rest space with their own blanket and pillow. Younger children rest earlier and longer; older children rest or do something calm.

Clean and comfortable

A shower and change in the late afternoon, so children go home fresh instead of sticky and tired.

Will my child still be learning in daycare?

Daycare children join real activities, chosen for their age and how they're feeling that day. It's lighter than our preschool project work, and that's on purpose: a long day needs room to breathe.

Language & story

Read-alouds, songs, rhymes and lots of conversation in English and Bahasa.

Fine motor & practical life

Pouring, scooping, dressing, tidying, helping with snack — the small skills that build independence.

Sensory & atelier

Clay, paint, water, sand, dough — open-ended materials with no right answer.

Outdoor time

Garden play, movement, and being outside every day the weather allows.

Social & emotional

Learning to wait, share, name feelings, and be part of a group — with an adult close by.

What are your daycare hours in Tabanan?

Our daycare is open Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 17:30, and Saturday from 07:30 to 15:00. Children enrolled in preschool who stay into the afternoon are with us from 08:00 to 17:30.

What ages do you accept in daycare?

Daycare is for children aged 1 to 7 years. Our wider learning space welcomes children from 12 months old through Baby & Me sessions and playdates.

Can I send my child only a few days a week?

Yes. We offer daily and drop-in daycare alongside full-time places, subject to availability. Message us on WhatsApp and we will hold a day for you.

Are meals included in daycare?

Yes. We cook fresh in-house every day: breakfast on arrival if your child hasn't eaten, lunch, two snacks, and dinner for children staying into the evening. Nothing is deep-fried and we work around allergies.

Do children nap during the day?

Yes. There is a quiet, darkened rest space with each child's own blanket and pillow. Younger children rest earlier and longer; older children rest or choose something calm.

How much does daycare cost and how do I book a trial day?

Every family has different needs. Message us on WhatsApp and we'll walk you through current programmes, schedules and tuition options, or book a free visit or trial day.
